Criminal Code Cleanup Act

This "Act" is actually a collection of some 7 acts, which were all passed as a single bill.
Preamble
Whereas the Criminal Code has a lot of minor issues,
Whereas everyone agrees it would be better if cleaned up a little.
The following amendments to the criminal code are hereby passed into law:
Act 1: Did you Forget what an Inchoate Offense is Amendment
Preamble
Whereas inchoate offenses are auxiliary and placed before normal charges,
Whereas Criminal Code Article 16a Unlawful Use of Alternate Accounts is not an Inchoate Offense but is in the Inchoate Offenses Part,
Believing it would better fit below Article 23 Resisting Arrest.
The following changes are hereby made to the criminal code:
Article 1 — Changes
§1. Article 16a of the Criminal Code is moved below Article 23 Resisting Arrest and renumbered to Article 23a.
§2. If Article 23 is not Resisting Arrest at the time of this law passing whichever article has the title Resisting Arrest shall be the reference point for the placement and numbering of the current Article 16a.
Act 2-Abuse? No! Misuse? Probably. Amendment
Preamble
Whereas the terms of abuse of permissions require malicious intent,
Whereas this was not the case in the past,
Recognizing some anti social action can be non-malicious,
Believing things should go back to the way they were.
The following changes are hereby made to the Criminal Code:
Article 1 — Misuse of Permissions
§1. The text of Criminal Code Article 31 Abuse of Permissions is to be replaced in its entirety by the following:
Article 31. Misuse of Permissions
§1. Whoever knowingly and intentionally uses their permissions and powers inappropriately, in a manner not related to the official work for which the permissions and powers are given, commits the crime of Misuse of Permissions.
§2. There must be demonstrable social harm to prosecute under this Article.
§3. The sentences available for Misuse of Permissions shall be a mute of up to one (1) week.
§2. If Article 31 is not Abuse of Permissions at the time of this law passing whichever article has the title “Abuse of Permissions” shall be the reference point for this amendment.
