The Senate Voting Clarification Act

Whereas; Votes are often started by a Senate that are completed after the next Senate has already been elected.

Whereas; How the exact process should be managed should be codified.

Article 1:

§1. Any Senate vote started by a particular Senate is to be considered a vote of that particular Senate.

§1.1. If the next Senate is elected while a vote is still ongoing it is still only the Senate that started the vote that is to complete the vote and Senators may still vote on these particular votes even after the next Senates’ Senators have been officially elected to the Senate.
