EO 118-01 Government Salary Executive Order 2024

1. Cabinet members shall have the authority to set salaries for their department, including their own position. The sum of all weekly salaries shall not exceed the weekly budget allocated to that department by the Senate.

2. The President may take up to 40% up the budget of the Office of the President as their own salary. The remaining budget shall be used to pay executive aides or support Presidential initiatives.

3. The Vice President may take up to 100% of the budget of the Office of the Vice President as their own salary. The remaining budget shall be used to pay executive aides or support Vice Presidential initiatives.

4. Salaries in the Executive shall be paid weekly on Saturday.
