1.1 A new Category of Channels shall be created on the discord titled “Government Records”

1.2 New public channels shall be created under this Category as follows: Public-Executive-Records Public-Economic-Records Public-Foreign-Records Public-Justice-Records Public-SDBI-Records Public-Activity-Records Public-Admin-Records

1.3 New private channels closed to everyone except those with government clearance shall be created under this Category as follows: Executive-Records Justice-SDBI-Records Admin-Records

1.4 All Secretaries at the beginning of a new Presidential term regardless of whether they are stepping down or not shall be required to send into the relevant channels a list of:

  • Departmental employees, rank, and salary
  • A list of transactions including money spent and taken in by the department
  • Any details of ongoing projects by the department
  • For the State Department this includes a list of current embassies, current relations, and any additions or subtractions from the list over the term
  • For the Attorney General this includes any ongoing cases and for the SDBI this includes any ongoing investigations

1.5 Throughout the term all Secretaries shall be required to input a record of actions taken into the channel

  • For all Secretaries this includes a copy of any new contract signed, any departmental business or discussions with anybody within or outside Simdemocracy, and any other relevant business conducted by the department
  • For the SDBI this includes rationale and evidence for any arrest made

1.6 Extra care should be taken where separate servers exist for departments. Records should be made by the Secretary or relevant officials in the relevant record channels at least twice a week and up to twice a day depending on server activity levels

1.7 Unless classified or agreed by the President all records should be placed in the public channels for transparency
