EO 135-04 Establishment of the SDBI Rank Structure

Whereas the SimDem Bureau of Investigation (SDBI) currently operates under an unclear and nonfunctional rank structure;
Whereas the simplification and clarification of the rank structure will improve efficiency, coordination, and operational effectiveness;
1. The SDBI shall operate under the following official rank structure:
1.1. Director of the SDBI
1.2. Lieutenant of the SDBI
1.3. Detective of the SDBI
1.4. Agent of the SDBI
1.5. Through internal resolution the DoJ may amend the designated ranks.
2. The ranks within the SDBI shall have the following designated functions:
2.1. Director of the SDBI. who serves as the head of the SDBI, coordinates and leads all investigative and operational matters, Oversees enforcement actions and ensures compliance with the Department of Justice’s directives.
2.2. Lieutenant of the SDBI. the Officer(s) second to the director of the SDBI, primary enforcer of court orders and coordinates lower-ranking officers. Holds both investigative and moderation responsibilities.
2.3. Detective of the SDBI the investigative officer responsible for compiling and drafting evidence and reports. Works closely with the State Attorney’s Office to ensure thorough documentation of cases. Assumes secondary moderation duties as required.
2.4. Agent of the SDBI, primary moderation officer, enforces the law through ticketing wrongdoers or alternatively seeking arrest warrants if necessary, assumes secondary investigative duties under the direction of higher-ranking officials.
2.5. Through internal resolution the DoJ may amend the designated functions.
3. The Director of the SDBI shall oversee the transition to this new rank structure.
3.2. All existing personnel shall be reassigned to their appropriate rank based on qualifications and experience.
3.3. The office of the Attorney General shall provide oversight to ensure adherence to this structure.
4. EO 133-9 is repealed.
