JUDGMENT by Judge Kate

[1]. Despite the fact that tensions between r/SimDemocracy and r/AlliedHQ were high, intentionally or unintentionally, damaging foreign relations, especially when not in a government office, is not illegal.

[2]. The post was a fairly clear joke. Not only did /u/Skeeh not hold any government office at the time, the post’s body made sure to present it as a joke, and the title was pointing the reader to read the body of the post. Therefore it is unlikely for the leader of r/AlliedHQ Min to misinterpret the post. As the prosecution has not presented any evidence regarding the device on which Min has been viewing the post, any argument related to this holds no merit.

[3]. Min’s state of mind or personality is not supported by any evidence, and as such all arguments related to it are dismissed, as well as considering the fact that someone’s personality is not court admissible evidence unless presented by an expert in the field of psychology.

[4]. Therefore, the defendant /u/Skeeh to be declared not guilty.
